In November 2013, Bert and Jen Lange heard the words they had been dreading. Bert was diagnosed with ALS, better known as Lou Gehrigs Disease. That same night Bert and Jen, along with their children Sophie and Alex, decided not to take this devastating diagnosis without a fight. They are athletes! They are winners! They are as tough as nails! Together, as a family, they faced this disease head on, determined to remain positive and thankful for all of their blessings. We, as their family, friends, co-workers and community have been and continue to be inspired by their brave and courageous fight against this awful disease.
