Help Restore my Liver, my life
Donation protected
My name is Bruce and I desperately need your help funding my liver treatment, so I can survive until I can receive a liver transplant at the Duke medical center in North Carolina. Fortunately I soon will be accepted into the care of world renowned Dr. Berkson, in Albuquerque, NM. (See below) Dr. Berkson was trained by the one and only Dr. Andrew Weil. With Dr. berkson's help, the hope is I will be able survive until a viable transplant liver can be found. Dr. Berkson is obviously not free, being on medicaid disability this treatement is not covered. $17,500 is a ton of money, however, from my perspective it is a small price to give a boy a father. Your help could quite literally save my life. My family, friends and my young son will be eternally grateful for any help you could offer.
It is important to me that you understand I would fund this myself if I could, however, this has been a long battle for me and my family. It has left me not only physically and emotionally devastated, but also financially. My family and I are tapped out, your help is our only hope.
If you have any questions about my fund, the procedures, or your own struggle with this disease I would be happy to talk to you. I answer all my emails. However, please be patient, somedays I simply can not.
Thank you so much for taking time to read this.
Respectfully and God bless you,
Bruce Wright

I am sorry to show this last photo of me, (Feb. 2015) but it is important for you to understand the reality of my condition. The distended belly is caused by fluid build-up due to my failing liver, it is called Ascites and it must now be drained every week. This is just one of the many symptoms I live with. Please help me, so I can start over...
This is a Private Grant set up to help pay for Bruce K. Wright's medical expenses related to his Liver Disease.
It is not managed by Bruce but rather his friends and family for his benefit.
