Jayson Wu Memorial Fund
Donation protected
On January 14th, 2022, our brother Jayson Wu passed away during an emergency open-heart surgery. This memorial fund was created to allow his friends and family to grieve with us and to accept any donations that people may be inclined to give. We ask that if you donate any amount, to please leave your first and last name so we can personally thank you. If Jayson has impacted your life in any way and you would like to share any pictures, memories, stories, etc, we would love to hear it so we are reminded of what a loving, kind-hearted person he was.
As we move forward from this devastating loss, we’d like to thank everyone for reaching out and being supportive of our family. There’s no better feeling than to hear of all the good things Jayson's done in his 30 years that God has given him. We will surely miss him on earth, but he will always be in our hearts.
From previous announcement:
Jayson was admitted to the ER on Friday morning after feeling chest pain and weakness. He had to undergo emergency heart surgery where we were advised from the beginning that the success rate was low, so we had prepared for the worst. The doctors did what they could but sadly, the procedure was unsuccessful.
Just before the operation, he called Mom, Dad, and I, separately, to explain his situation. We speculate that he did this as a final good-bye after coming to terms that he may not make it. I was able to tell him that we loved him in our final conversation. We're certain that he had heard those words and our only hope is that he believed it and felt it in his heart. His final message to us were, "Jackie, don't forget to delete my browsing history." so we know that he was still his silly self until the very end.
Our family is shocked and devastated of this sudden loss. To say that Jayson was an awesome son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend is simply an understatement. It was a true gift from God having Jayson as our oldest brother. He took care of the whole family, through the good times and through the hard times. He’s never let us down when we needed help.
As we move forward from this, we ask that you please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we are grieving and healing. It’s been restless these few days and it hurts to see our parents suffer through this. Sadness lingers and it may be this way for a while as we adapt to not having him here physically.
To Jayson, we love you and we miss you. You will always be remembered. Thank you for touching our lives and leading the pack as our oldest sibling. Please watch over us as we must move on without you. With time, we’ll be okay. Rest in Love, Brother.
