I am pursuing my BFA degree in the University of Minnesota / Guthrie Theater BFA Actor Training Program. We are immeasurably fortunate to have a semester in London incorporated into the program! While we are there, we take acting classes on the stage of The Globe Theatre and thoroughly investigate different methods to approaching Shakespeare's work. I am a Shakespeare fanatic and hope to start an acting troupe in the future to keep perpetuating his relevance throughout future generations, and this trip to London will inform this future project beyond any other experience I have had with his work. Unfortunately, I am quite financially shaky at the moment due to the cost of tuition, and this upcoming semester is going to be quite painful on the pocket, as instate tuition will not apply. Up until now, instate tuition is the only way I am able to afford school. Your help and generosity would be appreciated far beyond anything I can fathom. I cannot express how important it is to keep the articulation of love, loss, and humanity constant in society, and no one I have encountered does this with as much passion or truth as William Shakespeare.
