My name is Brittney and I’m creating this go fund me to help pay for my reconstructive surgery. I’m having a double mastectomy done this November in order to prevent developing breast cancer when I’m older. I have diagnosed with the BRAC2 gene which makes my chances of developing breast cancer 80% to 90% higher. The surgery helps reduce my chances down to about 2%. I have weighed out all my options and have decided that this is the best option for me. Unfortunately my insurance does not cover all the costs. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
