Kim Patterson's Road to Recovery

Meet Kim Patterson. Many of you are fortunate to already know her- you may have worked with her in Clinton, your child may have had her for preschool, or your older kids had her for Child Development. She might have chaperoned your high school trip to Europe. She may have been your massage therapist while working her second job. Kim has done so much for many families in Clinton, and now she needs our help,
Kim was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer that has spread to the stomach lining and liver. She will be undergoing intensive chemotherapy for three weeks prior to undergoing surgery, with more chemo scheduled after surgery. With this treatment schedule, Kim will be out of school for the rest of the school year. She will also be unable to continue working as a massage therapist, which has served to supplement her income. Throughout all of this, Kim's greatest concern has not been herself, but her students. Selfless even in the most trying of situations.
This is why we have put together this gofundme page: Kim needs our help during treatment. Co-pays, deductibles, and even parking can drain a patient's finances. Kim will be unable to work as a massage therapist, losing income for her day to day expenses as well. Donating to this gofundme page will help alleviate the stress and burden of these things, and allow her to focus on healing and recovery.
I know I speak on behalf of the Clinton community when I say that Kim has made a difference in my child's life, and helping her in this small way could make a huge difference in her recovery.
