Ricky McCarthy

Hi, my name is Mick McCarthy and I am fund raising for my brother, Ricky McCarthy, and his family. As many of you already know, Ricky recently suffered a major heart attack as well as a stroke. He is currently in a medically induced coma and receiving care at Mass General Hospital. Dr’s were successfully able to place one stint but more surgery will be needed once he is stronger and more stable. Rick’s future is unknown at this time and he will not be able to provide for himself and his family anytime soon. Ricky is and has always been a hard worker and is always willing to help others in times of need. I know he hasn’t always made the best decisions, but he means well. Our family will be unable to cover all of his medical expenses, and are reaching out for your support. Any money donated will go towards Ricky’s medical bills as well as helping to keep his family afloat during this trying time. When Rick pulls through, I am sure he will be upset with me for setting this fund up. He has never been good with accepting or asking for help. I look forward to the day he can yell at me again.
