Anna Potter— our amazing and beloved friend, sister, cousin, daughter, mom, writer, teacher, and bad ass punk rock lead singer— just got the awful news that she has Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. She's now facing a long stretch of chemo then surgery then radiation. This all sucks. But we want to support her and her family as a whole.

Her treatment started in early September. She has an aggressive treatment, with the goal of a cure. The first step in her treatment is 5 months of chemo, through the end of January. In February, she'll have a month for her body to recover. Then in early March, she will undergo surgery, followed by radiation therapy. 

During her treatment, she will be unable to teach, but she hopes to be back up and running starting next fall. We've set up this GoFundMe for Anna to help her make up a year of lost teaching wages and to cover ongoing medical costs associated with her treatment.
