As many of you know our good friend, father, coach, and pioneer of Michigan MMA Dom "I hate you so much" O'Grady passed away suddenly and unexpectedly this week.  While we are all struggling to cope with this tremendous loss, 
Dom has a two year old daughter Evelyn that we would like to set up a trust for to make sure she is taken care of in the absence of her father.  Dom had a huge impact on so many of us without ever asking for anything in return, and we would like to make sure we give something back for him.   Some of the money raised may also be necessary to help cover funeral arrangements and to help Evelyn's mother in the short term, but the main goal is to set up a college/trust fund for Evelyn.  Dom was somewhere between an older brother, father figure, and best friend to me, and I know I'm one of many people especially in the MMA world who would say that. Besides being a fighter and a coach, Dom also worked with special needs children for many years, and has touched the lives of countless people.  It would mean the world to me and many of his close friends if we knew we could do something to make sure his daughter is provided for.  Any contribution no matter how small would be greatly appreciated.  I will continue to update this page with information on how specifically we plan to use the money raised, but the goal is for 100% of it to make sure Evelyn is taken care of.
