On October 28, 2024, Jesse Hayes’ life was forever changed when he was struck by a car while riding his bike. He suffered a traumatic brain injury, and since then, every day has been part of a long and challenging recovery journey. Jesse has shown incredible resilience and determination, working tirelessly through therapy sessions and pushing himself toward healing. Despite his progress, many of the specialized treatments he needs are not covered by insurance, leaving significant gaps in his care.

One of the most meaningful parts of Jesse’s recovery has been music therapy. From the very first session, he connected deeply with the experience, finding not only healing but also joy and inspiration through music. What began as part of his treatment quickly grew into a passion, and Jesse now dreams of one day becoming a music therapist himself—helping others find the same comfort, strength, and hope that music has brought him.

Jesse’s journey is far from over. With continued therapy and access to the right resources, he has the potential to make remarkable strides in his recovery.
