Some of you may know Carl, the gentleman who lived on the corner opposite the balancing pond, on Firebrace Drive, kingshill estate always out in the sunshine feeding the ducks or doing his front garden, you may have seen him on his mobility scooter going up and down the road to the shop or to the stoke golding club

Unfortunately, he passed away after battling terminal cancer just over a week ago

A few of us on the kingshill estate would like to put a memorial bench on the little patch of grass opposite his flat.

Somewhere for his family to sit and remember him.

If anyone would like to contribute to the bench we would be so grateful

Once we have the funds we will buy the bench and what we need and if there is any money left over we will give this to his family
