Zack Carpenter Parisite Memorial

May 10, 2013 Zack Carpenter was prematurely taken away from us by senseless violence. He was a highly respected member of the local community here in New Orleans. Zack had a passion for skating, and everything that it involved. He would frequently visit Parasite in its infancy and would teach underprivileged youth to skate, as well as maintaining the Parasite grounds, hosting BBQs and planting several gardens. He touched everyone he came into contact with, and Zack served as an example of what people could be if they believed in others.
Now it's our turn to give back. We have the opportunity to give Zack something he never thought would be possible, a permanent place at the Parasite as it becomes a legitimate skate park.
Please take a moment to reflect on positive thoughts that you might have shared with Zack, then reach into your pocket and give a little....

The proceeds from this campaign will be used to establish some type of memorial for Zack at the Parasite Skate Park. The memorial will be established through our donation to Parasite through their kickstarter.

There are three stages of donation:
$500 Tree Spirit - gets the donor (Zack) a tree planted in the park in his name
$1500 Bench Mark - gets the donor (Zack) their name on a bench, picnic table, or bike rack
$2500 Stone Mason - gets the donor (Zack) their name carved in the stone once it is poured to create the ramps

We have until March 26, 2015 to get our donation to Parasite, but hopefully we can get Zack Memorial donation submitted well before the deadline.
