Felix's FIP Treatment

Donation protected
A few days ago, Felix was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). This is supposedly an incurable, rare disease with a 100% fatality rate. As you can imagine, I was absolutely devastated after getting the call from the vet. He's like my child and it was like my child just got the diagnosis of an incurable and fatal disease. After a day or two of grieving for him, I was contacted by someone who successfully treated their two cats that got it. She told me that there is a cure out there that is proven to work and her two kittens are alive today because of it. She gave me a vial to try on my Felix and...the results have been miraculous so far. He has life in his eyes again. He actually plays with his toys again. And it's only the 4th day of treatment out of 84! I have hope for him now where I felt absolutely helpless and hopeless before.

Unfortunately, this is also a very expensive treatment that will cost thousands of dollars by the end of it. I've already spent about $1000 on the vet alone just to try and get a diagnosis. We are unsure if he has the dry form or the wet form of FIP since he doesn't really show symptoms of either (Which might be good?). I might be able to cover all the costs but I'd hate to not have enough for a treatment and he relapses. His treatment is $140 per vial which, until he gains weight, is about 5 doses worth. Any bit will help immensely on his road to recovery. I know a lot of people think "It's just a cat...get over it". But he is family to me and I'll do what it takes to get him well again. Thank you for reading.
