I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my sweet Rottweiler, Harley, who needs surgery.

Harley is full of life! Playful, goofy, and always ready for a game of fetch. The hardest part is that she doesn’t realize that she is hurting herself when she tries to play like she used to and wants to keep going, but her body can’t keep up right now and her other leg is overcompensating for the injury.

She’s torn her ACL, and the surgeon warned us that if she keeps moving the way she does, with all her energy and spunk, that she is at a high risk of tearing the other one. If that happens, she won’t be able to walk at all..

Right now, she looks at me with those big puppy eyes wondering why we can’t chase the ball or go for long walks. We want nothing more than to get her the surgery she needs so that she can heal and get back to being the vibrant, silly girl we love so much. But the cost is more than we can afford right now.
