Shannon's Fight

Hello everyone! I am Britt, Shannon Crowder's cousin. She gave me permission to share her story. She was recently diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer and she has begun her fight by receiving her first treatment last week. Her treatment plan is still being developed, but we know she will receive multiple rounds of chemotherapy, surgery, and further chemo or radiation after surgery. The first step is several rounds of chemotherapy, PET scan, and then setting up surgery. She is very strong, but we know it's going to be a long hard fight. On top of this incredible stress is the added medical bills, copays, deductibles, premiums, etc. I have set this account up to assist Shannon and family with these costs so that she can concentrate on healing without worrying about these extra medical expenses. Shannon is a wife, mother of four, daughter, friend, and an incredible person. She gives her all to her family. Her three sons are in the military and her daughter is in middle school.
