Help for Josh

Hi my name is Coleen and this fundraiser is for my best friend Josh. For the past 3 years he has been through a lot medically which has now taken a toll on him financially. 3 years ago Josh was diagnosed with 3 tumors wrapped around his spinal cord. 2 of the tumors were operable unfortunately 1 was not. For each surgery he was hospitalized for 2 weeks at a time. He also had to do radiation for these tumors. He was out of work for 6 months where disability only covered about half his salary. Because of this he relied on his credit cards to pay his bills and is getting hit w/ astronomical interest charges. He has been trying to catch up, but it is nearly impossible. He recently got a 2nd job which he loves but can't work due to his latest medical issue. He was recently diagnosed with a large abscess near his tail bone that was almost septic. He had to have emergency surgery on this and was in the hospital for 4 days. The wound had to be left open to heal. Unfortunately, because of this he is out of work indefinitely with his regular job and his 2nd job at a restaurant. He will now be missing the busiest time of year at the restaurant that he was relying on to go towards his debt. His regular job won't let him work remotely, he has no sick time or PTO time left. He also has to pay out of pocket for the visiting nurse that comes daily to check the wound and packaging.

The pandemic, inflation, cost of living along with everything else skyrocketing he has been struggling to keep his head above water. He can't pay his regular bills because of this. The burden of all this stress of once again not being able to pay bills and not knowing what the future holds for him. He has $35,000 in debt that he can't handle without some help. I know we all have struggles but he has been trying so hard to pay his bills and isn't getting anywhere. As we know Josh is a loving person and would do anything for anyone.
