This may be my last option to prevent myself from becoming homeless.

Due to government budget cuts, my state is limited in emergency housing and rental assistance.

Because of that, I'm turning to GoFundMe for help.

To make it brief, I am behind on five months' rent. In Colorado, landlords are not able to negotiate payment arrangements, so I can only come up with the lump sum to prevent my outright eviction.

I fell behind because of my car payments, upkeep of my car, and my medical bills. I do work full-time, but there is no way I can come up with my back rent on my own. I'm mentally ill and one of my cats is blind, so it is extremely important for me and my cats to have housing.
