Hi my name is Laurel Tevolitz. Most of us in Playa del Rey know Lola and her furbaby Charlie. For decades, Lola has been a "Godmother" to all of our doggies, offering good cheer, a smile and a wave to all who pass by in the evening where she sits on the corner of Falmouth Avenue and Redlands Street. She is the matriarch of "Yappy Hour" to all the doggies and their human families in the neighborhood.

 

Unfortunately, her King Charles Cavalier, Charlie, has developed two painful, continually open and bleeding skin tags - one very large one on his ear and another on his lip that both need to be removed right away.   They can become infected easily which can be fatal due to their proximity to the brain.  It would be wonderful if all of us could show our appreciation by helping Lola to raise the funds for the procedure needed to remove the growth from Charlie. If we all just give a little to the woman who has given so much to our community, we should be able to come pretty close to the needed $3000 to cover Charlie's surgery and medication.
