On April 9th Barry/Uncle B/ Papa/Biscuit, as some of you know, had a life threatening accident and fell down basement stairs while sleep walking. He was med flighted to Beth Isreal trauma ICU in Boston and found to have sustained a right subdural hematoma. He had to undergo an immediate craniectomy to relieve pressure on his brain, and had a breathing tube placed to help assist/maintain airway. April 10th they were able to take out the tube and he has been able to breathe on his own so far. Although still sedated in the ICU we have been hopefully he will soon wake up and be able to start progressing towards the steps he needs to come home. During such a world wide epidemic it is against my moms wishes I reach out and ask for help. Anyone that knows him or her, know just how selfless, caring and what wonderful people they both know are. There is a long road ahead of recovery and rehab but we will get through this. We are doing our very best to stay afloat but as expected medical expenses like this take a huge toll on families, even after insurance assistance. Any and all donations or cards are extremely appreciated. We thank you in advance for all the love, prayers and support that continuously pours in! We love you all.
