DESPERATELY NEED HELP

My name is Torrie and I'm fundraising for my husband, Ross. We are desperate for help at the moment. Ross was injured at work (delivery driver The Forward Group) on Jan 2022. His injury needed immediate attention to avoid permanent damage. Workers comp made him wait 5 months for surgery. Because of that 5 month wait he's had 3 surgeries and is about to have his 4th and now has severe permanent damage. During this time period the company he worked for called workers comp and said they could accommodate him for work. He would drive an hour to work just to be told they didn't need him, over and over again. They were trying to make him quit and when he didn't quit, they made up excuses to fire him. So at that point workers comp payments STOPPED! We have maxed out our credit cards just to live. My credit score has been ruined at this point. Ross' injury is to his dominant arm. With every surgery he's lost more and more sensation from nerve damage. He has 11% usage of his arm right now. No one will hire him right now while he's waiting for surgery. We filed for disability 6 months ago and still no answer from them. We have obtained a lawyer, but TN laws are not in our favor. The settlement that was offered at this point would barely get us out of debt. It may go even lower after the 4th surgery depending on the outcome. The company he worked for also complained that the workers comp payments we did receive in the beginning were based on too high of a salary, so we now owe them $4500 (that will come out of our settlement). Bc he was still a newer employee we don't have proof to go against them. On top of that our car broke down and we are in the process of being evicted from our rental house. In 30 days i have to pack up our house, find somewhere cheaper to live, move and go thru surgery with my husband. I'm suffering from severe anxiety and depression and this situation has really made it worse. We are both so overwhelmed we don't know where to turn for help.
