Donations for Alan

Hi everyone, I am Angie, Alan's fiancé. There have been a number of people asking for ways to help, if we have any crowd funding, or if we plan to have a benefit. After much thought he's decided that this *crowd funding* might not be a bad idea.

Why we're doing this:
Alan learned in early April 2022 that he had a mass in his chest, located between his heart and left lung. After a month of waiting for results on what it was and the biopsy findings being sent to Mayo, he finally received the results on May 24, 2022.
He has a rare cancer, so rare that it was only discovered in 2015, and there have been less than 100 confirmed cases since its discovery. It's name is ambiguous at best: Thoracic, smarca-4 deficient, undifferentiated tumor.
He's currently unable to work due to the prescriptions he's on to maintain a certain quality of life. Over the next few weeks he will be undergoing chemo along with radiation which will also affect his quality of life. His current energy levels are best described as a bottle rocket - quick to take off and quick to peter out.

Thank you for taking the time to read a tidbit about his story. Please don't feel obligated to donate, not everyone can and we completely understand.

If you do, we greatly appreciate it. In more ways than you'll understand.

The donations will be used to cover medical expenses, bills, and the day-to-day that goes along with trips to the hospital/appointments.
