Some of you may know my dear friend, Alicia Jayne Kelly. She has contributed tremendous work as an actress on the stage, and aboard Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas, as Velma Kelly in Chicago. If you have ever enjoyed her work, now is your chance to reach back to Alicia, because Alicia needs your help.
On February 8th, 2016, Alicia Jayne Kelly was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She looked into Holistic care, but the prognosis is 90% cured by an aggressive treatment called ABVD chemotherapy, and she has chosen to take this route, to give herself the best chance possible for remission. Alicia will undergo ABVD for a minimum of six months, and going through this treatment will significantly weaken her immune system. Like many of us in the performing arts, Alicia has been working at a restaurant to pay her bills, but this will no longer be an option once treatment starts next week. Despite carrying insurance, the out-of-pocket costs for doctor visits and testing, is already in the thousands.
Alicia is a fighter! She is incredibly strong, and we know she will be cancer free by October! Please join all of us who love Alicia Jayne Kelly with a donation, and stand by her side as she enters this battle. No donation is too small, and I ask you to join me in standing with my dear friend as we say AJK #WEGOTTHIS !
Your contribution will cover her miscellaneous medical and personal expenses that will be left remaining after insurance and time out of work.
Thank you for helping Alicia fight the toughest battle she will ever face.
Humbly Grateful,
Joseph London
