Treatment for cancer

Hi everyone,

Before I begin the story, I want to thank Michael Rubera for starting the fundraiser for my condition and supporting me through this difficult time. I truly appreciate it. Below is my story that my son has written.

Hope you are doing well and if you can please take the time to read this description that my son Gabriel has written. My name is Albert Fattakhov and I am a father of three beautiful children. Two years ago in 2021, I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Finding out about my condition was devasting not only for myself but my family as well; we could not believe it. My wife and kids have been so supportive and have been trying to help as much as possible, but unfortunately, the condition keeps on growing more and more aggressively. It has reached stage 3 already and I am very concerned. I have tried multiple treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation, and experimental therapy, going to multiple well-known treatment centers like NYU and Memorial Sloan Cancer Center; spending much money on these treatments, but nothing has been working.

I have been working with another Lymphoma specialist that recommends a new treatment that could “reverse the effects and be life-saving”, but it is not covered by insurance. This treatment’s cost is very high and money has been very tight due to all the money that has been spent on previous treatments. There have been times when it was difficult to work and would take days off due to the pain and massive growth the lymphoma would cause. The total cost is $120,000 for the treatment and I was thankfully able to raise $80,000. I need to raise another $40,000 for my doctor to be able to try the treatment. I am so sorry to ask, but any help would be highly appreciated. I love to help people and every time I get the chance to help, I always take initiative, but at this moment, I really need your help. This has been very hard on my family and I and watching my kids suffer is not something I can handle to watch. I hate to ask for money or donations because all my life I’ve used my own money, but nothing has worked all I’m asking for is a little extra help so I can receive this treatment and still be here to raise my kids and put my kids through college. I have a great support system from my family and friends and all I’m asking is to be there to raise my 21-year-old son Gabriel, 16-year-old daughter Elizabeth, and 4-year-old son Ariel. I want to see my kids go through college and be part of all their successes.

This new treatment is out of the country which is why it’s so it’s expensive. I am so glad to have found a doctor out of the country that has a success rate to treat my stage three lymphoma. I would be grateful to anyone who could help and donate so I can still be here for my kids and wife and watch my little son grow. Supporting my family has become difficult due to my financial hardship so I’m creating a go fund me page for my father, which is very hard because my whole life I’ve always helped others and I’ve finally been convinced that it’s OK to receive help from others so all I’m asking for is a chance for me to beat this cancer and be here with my family and friends, so I would appreciate anything from anyone, from the bottom of my heart. My father always loves to give back when he can and I as his oldest son try to give back to people in need following in his footsteps. Please any help would be very helpful and I am very grateful to everybody. If I can just have this one last chance to be treated, but unfortunately today to be treated everything costs money, so please all I ask is for any help and in return, anybody that donates I highly appreciate you with all my heart, thank you guys for hearing my story and in the future, I will continue to give back to everyone that is in need.
