I’m back, in another video, this time significantly more vulnerable than ever before. This is 10x harder than the last video. So many people have asked me over the last few months how to help me or if there was anything they could do. There is now. 

If anyone needs catching up, I’m Dana Hendricks, and I have an eating disorder that’s controlling my life. Depending on whose diagnosing me, I have bulimia or anorexia nervosa, binge purge type. I haven’t missed a day of exercise in a couple years, even if it means getting up at 2am or exercising through the flu. I get a lot of compliments on my thinness and how “fit” I am, and the truth is I’m a fraud. I feel like a heroin addict, and I am so ready to quit. I hate this. It’s not fun anymore 

I am so pro-recovery, but I’ve been trying to do this on my own. My only “treatment” is therapy once a week, and it’s nowhere near enough. I need real treatment in a facility designed for eating disorders. I have a lot of sick time banked up from work and I’m ready to take a month or so and throw everything I have into healing. I’m ready to gain some weight, I’m ready to have normal meals again with my family, and I’m ready to stop feeling the need to be thin just to please everyone else. 

I want 2019 to be the year for complete recovery. I know I have the stamina to get there, but I really don’t have the cash. I need a significant cash payment up front. It doesn’t matter if I’m in treatment for three days or three weeks, the cost is the same. I need this burden off my shoulders so I can focus on the real issues. Please help me get there.
