Help Tom Fight Pancreatic Cancer

After months of abdominal pain and trying to see a gastroenterologist, my friend Tom Shaw was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Anyone who knows Tom knows how genuinely great of a person he is. He's a caring and kind friend, a passionate and student-centered teacher, and, most importantly, a loving father and husband.

Tom and his wife Jenn have recently relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from Louisville, Kentucky, for Tom to get the treatment he needs to kick cancer's ass, including chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. This was a sudden but necessary upheaval to ensure that Tom could get what he needs to face this diagnosis head-on, so we're raising funds to help Tom and his family cover the cost of treatment, relocation, and any other expenses that might be headed their way.
