As many of you have been following update by update of Carolina’s journey with Colon Cancer, I am sadden to bring you the news that she has gained her wings on 8/6/24. If you would like to donate to her husband and son in this moment of time it would be much appreciated. You are also more than welcome to Zelle directly to John Cooper.
UPDATE 7/31/24 *******
Nurse came today. From the looks of it I only have a couple weeks maybe even days left. I had a catheter put in 4 days ago (i can no longer pee on my own without having to push) I can no longer walk. Can’t get out of bed. My legs are too weak. The cancer has spread to my kidneys and liver. My veins are no longer the color they used to be. I have a really bad cough. My chest hurts eveytime I cough. I have to wear diapers. I am bedridden just waiting to die. I tried my hardest to fight this fight but it looks like cancer won. My husband hasn’t been to work in what seems like 2 months so all donations have gone to the mortgage or to Noah’s needs. Thank you to those who have donated!
UPDATE 6/22/24
Thank you to those who have donated! It means a lot. These days I’m unable to get around by myself. I HAVE to use my walker. ( fell on concrete and might have fractured my ribs) and my chest hurts so much when I breathe or lay down or just do about anything. Everything is a struggle for me. My husband has not been able to work in 2-3 weeks as he has to take care of me. I’ve been bedridden. I don’t have an appetite to eat. I have to force myself. I’m trying so hard to get over this but it’s just so hard.
UPDATE****
THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO HAVE DONATED!! THE AMOUNT OF SUPPORT WE HAVE BEEN GETTING IS AMAZING AND WE ARE VERY THANKFUL!!!
No donation is too small, and every contribution will make a difference! Hi! My name is Carolina, I am 29 years old and I was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer with Mets to lungs in January of 2023. I went through 10 sessions of chemotherapy (3 different treatments) and had no shrinkage. I am currently on hospice and the doctors gave me 6-9months to live. (It could be more, it could be less). I am no longer working and haven’t been for the past year since it’s hard to move around. My husband is my caregiver and the only source of income in the household. I want to be able to spend time with my son and husband and have a little fun with them while I can. Whether we go to six flags, movies, or the beach (my son loves the beach) . I have enough money saved up for my cremation (I chose cremation because it’s the cheapest option and I don’t want to put that financial burden on my family)
Your donation would help support medical bills and other necessary expenses. Any remaining funds will be put aside for my son. Anything will help, Thank you for your donations in advance, please share!! I appreciate your support more than anything!
You can follow my journey on my social media pages for regular updates!!
