Tammy's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Tammy Lofquist is an Executive Assistant and has been with Asbury for 13 years. During a routine checkup in the summer of 2022, Tammy’s doctor noticed an abnormality which resulted in Tammy’s first surgery to remove precancerous tissue. 6 months later, the doctors had more concerns, resulting in another procedure. They ran a biopsy and found that there was cancer in Tammy’s breast tissue.

Her surgery has been scheduled for September 22nd, where Tammy will undergo a double mastectomy and the specialists will further examine her lymphatic system for potential spread.

As someone who will drop what she's doing to help a team member or friend in need, our dear friend Tammy now needs our support. Tammy is a single mother and will be on an extended leave of absence with limited income while she recovers from her surgery. All funds raised will go directly toward Tammy’s mounting medical bills, recovery, and cost of living.
