We need help ❤️‍ devastation after the storm..

Hi, my name is Christina .. I am a single mother with three amazing beautiful children. 18, 12 and almost 2.. My youngest who will be turning 2 on Halloween has special needs, ASD and SPD. My older two also have special needs and are on the spectrum. We are from Arcadia, FL.

Up until hurricane Ian, we lived in our home together for the past 7.5 years and owned our car for the past 4 years. Being a single parent household with no local family or support system, money has always been extremely tight but we have always managed and have always made the very best out of everyday and every situation.

Unfortunately, hurricane Ian destroyed our home and car. Both are totaled.. we are now homeless and carless, living in a local shelter. I did apply for FEMA, they sent out an inspector and he did confirm that our home is unlivable and beyond repair and because our car was flooded and is still in fact full of water, it is also unusable. Our home was a 40 year old single wide manufactured home and our car was 22 years old. Our home was not insurable and I only had liability insurance on the car because that was all I could afford.

FEMA has approved us for some funds but it is not going to be enough. I do not have any savings or anywhere to pull money from. Everyone that knows me, knows how incredibly hard this is for me to have to ask for help. I am not good with asking especially when it comes to money.

For the sake of my children I have to ask. I'm left with absolutely no other option or choice. I desperately need help.. I know so many people have been affected by this storm which makes it even harder for me to have to ask but my children's lives and whole world has been flipped upside down. So has mine. I have a few different plans I am trying to map out but I can't actually set anything into motion until I have the finances to move forward. 

First step, I have got to get us a vehicle. Then, a home that we can afford. Then worry about slowly rebuilding our lives and replacing all that's been lost. Any money raised will be going solely to rebuilding and replacing. If anyone is able to and willing to help with anything, my family would be so forever grateful. I am so desperate and so sorry to even have to ask for other people to help us. Please forgive me. I love my children more than anything in the entire world and all I want to do is fix this for them but I can't do it alone. This is bigger than me and bigger than what I'm capable of doing by myself.
