Artists Lend Support wheechair Van

This van will enable us to go to an event in NYC for Artists Lend Support. The non profit fine art website I started after i was diagnosed with ALS. www.artistslendsupport.org
This is hard for me to ask for help, but of course this is an expensive disease and i haven't worked in four years and this is going to be a big event for my organization to raise money for ALS TDI. I was a strugging nyc writer / filmaker / photographer / part-time showroom manager, which means I was drowning in debt to finance my projects. I of course was handling it and saw a future beyond the debt, but being diagnosed killed future plans. I can't lean on family all the time. So i have seen people be succesful with platform so here we are. We lack 5,000 to get a safe van that can get me to events and Dr appointments.
By the way all the designated proceeds go to ALS research and few indivuals that make art to sustain themselves while fighting ALS. I believe in taking care of new Artists as well. I have also negotiáted with artists a gallery % to go to ALS. That way they don't give their hard work away If they are struggling, and lets be honest most of us are. Artists Lend Support is a reflection of the love I have of the creative process and i believe that most people who create have more respect for the environment around them. And we need that more than ever.
I have met some incredible people through this ALS experience. This disease makes it perfectly clear what the blessings that comes from just being alive, love of family and friends, and the gorgeous planet we were given to protect. And taking care of others, which is what I am trying to accomplish with Artists Lend Support.
We are in a bit of a hurry we have put a deposit on a van and have 20 days to hold. Thank you in advance for supporting this effort. Much love to you all.
