Officer Involved Shooting

Donation protected
On March 12, 2021 at approximately 4:00 pm a Police Officer with the City of Omaha was shot while responding to the Westroads Mall for shoplifting.

The Officer has been with the Omaha Police Department since 2016. He is a loving husband and a father of three beautiful children. The officer is a devoted Christian with a love of his career, family, and God.

The officer was shot several times in the head and shoulder area. The extent of the trauma was in the face, neck, and shoulder.

It should be no surprise, but the recovery for these injuries will require time, surgeries, and time away from work. Any donations will go directly to the family of the officer involved to help with bills and any other living expenses they need relief from.

At a time like this the officer should not have to worry about the stresses of life but focus on healing. Equally as important, his wife will not receive the assistance the officer was once able to provide with watching after the children, household chores, and other responsibilities.
