Britt's Battle

Donation protected
The last couple of years for my son, Jeremy, daughter in love, Britt, and my two grandsons, Campbell & Grey have been challenging to say the least. It has been an emotional & devastating journey for the entire family.
Britt has been very quiet about her battle. Not very many people even know what she's been fighting or the magnitude of this illness.
Little did Britt & Jeremy know that moving into a new home would expose the family to mold already present within the house and flip their lives upside down.
For the past year Britt has been experiencing very scary symptoms that are progressively getting worse.
Uncontrollable body tremors, severe food/environmental allergies, dysphasia, brain inflammation/injury, throat swelling, a partially collapsed lung, asthma & sadly the list goes on.

Britt has tried to be superwoman where she continued to work & take care of her two young boys while her husband works long hours to provide as well. It is very evident that due to this illness & malabsorption her health is rapidly declining.

In August 2017, Britt was diagnosed with Biotoxin Illness ( also known as toxic mold poisoning) & CIRS.
This meant in order for Britt to begin to recover her family had to move & leave behind everything they owned.
Although the removal from mold exposure was a crucial first step in the process it is not nearly enough as she fights for her life back.

This illness sadly dictates how she feels & what she is able to do on a day to day basis. Her medication & supplement count is higher than she would like to admit as she watches the clock to make sure she keeps up with it for a reasonable level of functioning.

What makes Britts situation more complicated is that she carries three mold susceptible HLA-DR genetic mutations. Her body is unable to produce the antibodies to clear these toxins & fight this illness. With that being said she will begin twice weekly IV treatments for atleast an intensive 12 weeks.

There is such a deep loss with what Britt & her family are facing. Not all of her treatment is covered by insurance & her medical expense is increasing daily. She would never  ask for help on her own , but giving any dollar amount that you can so she can begin treatment & get the help that she so desperately needs would be greatly appreciated.

None of us know what tomorrow holds but we know who holds our tomorrow.
