Family needs help
Donation protected
I am writing to ask for your help for a great hardworking family who has worked very hard to do the right things in life and is now facing a great crisis.
Raymond and Jenny have spent their lives helping others, and in Jenny’s case as an OR Registered Nurse in the VA system, have saved many lives of our great Veterans. They have never asked for help and instead have sought only to help others. Now it’s our turn.
Within the last week Raymond was diagnosed with a malignant disease called multiple myeloma at age 45. He had undergone cervical removal of the tumors and a right hip fracture (resulting from the disease process) open reduction internal fixation as well as multiple biopsy procedures. He is undergoing Physical Therapy before his radiation and chemotherapy. He is looking into immunotherapy and other alternative medicines which are not covered by health insurance. His father died from brain cancer when he was 49.
For 12 years Jenny has tirelessly worked to serve our Veterans. Her fellow co-workers know her as a highly competent professional who is a problem solver, not a problem maker. Because of her skills, commitment and compassion, many of our Veterans have gone on to live full rich lives.
But now she has to become the caregiver for her husband and their two great sons, who are undergoing the pressure of watching their father’s valiant fight against this disease.
Jenny needs more time to be with family, now to nurse them, in their time of need.
That’s why I am asking for your help in this time of crisis for the Valera-Go Family. Anything you can give will help a wonderful family stand against the storm, with love. Thank you very much in advance for all your prayers and financial help.
