Helping Suzanne While She Fights Cancer

My name is Sarah Banh, and my family and I truly appreciate the time you are taking to read this.

Last November, my sister, Suzanne Bryson, aka Suzy aka Doozer, was diagnosed with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, a rare form of cancer. This disease causes frequent, painful symptom flairs and requires harsh, expensive treatments that are not fully covered by medical insurance. Suzanne's out-of-pocket cost for topical chemotherapy is already over $2,000. Unfortunately, her disease has not been responsive to the topical chemo and so the next step is to try daily radiation therapy.

Since Suzanne is in her first year at a new job, she does not qualify for Family Medical Leave Act protections, nor does paid leave at her job cover the time needed during and after flair-ups, frequent doctor appointments, and any recovery time necessary in between treatments. We are raising funds so that Suzy can be alleviated of some of the financial stress and focus on a path to wellness.
