Dear friends and family
I am sending out a call for help. A few days before my high school graduation, I started fighting the battle of my life. Selective T-cell Lymphoplastic Lymphoma is a savage beast of a disease that took away a little over three years of my life. With Maine Childrens Cancer Program in my corner, and when weekly chemo became monthly, I got my old job back ( thank you Renys!) and picked up a full time job at Embassy Suites. I also went back to school and quickly graduated from Southern Maine Community College. The darkest time in my life is behind me, and I can say I am in remission with a new direction in life. I’m back in school, in the nursing program at SMCC; I just finished my phlebotomy clinicals at Mercy Hospital. I know I can do for other kids what was done for me. The help I’m asking for is to pay the final few medical bills I haven’t been able to handle. They feel chained to my life. The debt has gone into collection, and I’m worried the longer they go unpaid my ability to take out important loans in the future will be at risk. So please I ask for any amount you can help me with. Thank you for caring about me. I appreciate and love you all.
