My name is Jesse and I, along with my family, am raising money to support my sister Kara who is in the midst of battling breast cancer. The Lord has blessed me with the gift of running to utilize as my platform to raise money to assist her and her family with various medical costs and other living expenses.

She is a young mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt and devoted friend. As a family we believe in community and the support we can bring one another through sharing Kara's story and raising funds to support and encourage them as they face this current battle.

Kara is strong, confident, and the most courageous person we know. She is a fighter! Through this effort we hope to ease the financial burden that so many fighting cancer endure and allow her to simply enjoy her family.

My prayer is that, as I run the Boston Marathon on April 18, 2016 to honor her and her fight,  you will feel compelled to donate and help us fight along side her. All money raised will be provided directly to her. Will you join me and contribute as I cross the finish line in Boston?
