Donate to End Basement Flooding for Disabled Family
Donation protected
Our sewer line needs to be replaced. It keeps backing up into our basement. The constant flooding is awful! And with two disabled people in the household, not using things like the toilet is not an option. We've had a plumber use an auger trying to fix the problem, which didn't work. They also examined the pipe with a camera and said we needed to have the pipe hydrojetted, which would cost around $2,000 - $2,500. This would also only be a band-aid for a bigger issue, which is the drain pipe needing to be excavated and replaced in this old house built in the 1950s. We're looking at around $10,000 to replace that.
With our limited income, raising this money is not possible for us on our own. With the costs of medications, bills, and basic living expenses, we're having a hard enough time getting by as it is.
A donation of any amount would mean so much! Helping us in reaching our goal of replacing the drain and getting the hydrojet so we can stop the flooding. Any extra money raised will be used towards the cleaning of the areas of our basement affected by the flooding.
