On December 28th, a massive fire broke out at the home of Jerry and Cindy Fisher. Thankfully no one was hurt, but by the time the fire was extinguished, their home and most of their possessions were destroyed either by fire, smoke, or water. A friend of theirs staying there, Artie Schnable, lost every possession he had, including his pet kitty, Skippy. All other pets made it out or were rescued by fire fighters.

The Fishers and their son Jeremy, who is disabled, are in process of securing temporary housing while they navigate through this hard situation. During this time, they will need to start completely over. Jerry is also fighting a strong battle with cancer and alleviating any stress would help tremendously. Cindy and Jerry are well known in their community, always willing to help others in need. They have been surrogate grandparents to my daughter for her entire 20 years and are two of the best people I've ever known. Please help in any way you can.
