Remembering Marley

Marley brought so much love and light into many people's life. She was small but has left a mighty hole in our hearts.

Her transformation was amazing. When she was found she was malnourished, matted, tired and ready to give up. Thanks to Danielle and Dean she was given a second chance.

As soon as she came into my home it was obvious she was thankful and ready to enjoy her sunset times in warmth and safety. The first thing she did when she arrived in my home was sit on my lap. Her fur grew back beautifully, she enjoyed endless food and treats, constantly demanded cuddles and loved her time in the sling being close to me.

Despite having multiple terminal illnesses she went from strength to strength. She learnt to trust and love again. She loved to eat and sleep and watch the world go by from the safety of her new home. She welcomed human cuddles from anyone who came into her home and loved being protected by the dogs she met.

She brought me so much joy and love from the moment she came into my life. I hope I was able to take away her pain and make her feel safe and loved, erasing everything the went through before we met.

Her mighty meow started a new movement, The Marley Mission. She raised awareness to rescue animals, fostering and the importance of showing love and care to every animal in this world. I intend to continue this mission in her honour.
