First of all, I can’t believe I am doing this. It still seems like such a wrong thing to say that my wife has cancer. Correction, my amazing, caring, giving, loving wife has cancer.

We are just normal Midwest people. She works at the hospital and I am a mechanic. We are better off than some and not as well off as others. We do have health insurance, but there are going to be bills piling up. To top it off, I’m having my fourth back surgery on June 27th. Hooray!!! We are very early in the start of her cancer treatment and she seems to be doing well. She is an incredibly strong woman and I will never forget or forgive cancer for the breakdown it gave her. She has seemed to begin to come to terms with the battle she/we are facing, but the scared little girl is just under the surface and it is all new to me. Her fight is my fight and I will be with her every step. We are concerned about bills and loss of pay due to missed work. Again, I have never done this and never dreamed I would ever be doing this. Thank you for your consideration and thank you for helping us get through this so we can get back to enjoying our life with kids, grandkids, and our furry family members.
