There has been a terrible tragedy in our family. My beautiful, smart, funny and perfect angel of a 2 year old daughter, Raelyn was able to get out of our home in the middle of the night in the middle of February. She was medflighted to Mayo Hospital in Rochester, MN., where she had an ECMO procedure done in the hopes of bringing her slowly back to a regular body temperature. She was in the ICU for 5 days before her brain swelled, which eventually led to complete brain death. Her organs were donated without question. Her kidneys and liver went on to save 2 elderly women. Life is not the same without my precious angel, and I would give anything to have taken her place. Her outstanding hospital bills are over $200,000.
