Help Adrian medical expenses

Hello friends and family,
As most of you have heard, my cousin Adrian Alvarez Mendoza was recently diagnosed with leukemia. He just turned 18 years old and is a Senior in high school. He has a wonderful future ahead of him.
We would love for you to read this story and share it with your family and friends.
It started about 2 months ago with headaches, loss of appetite and fatigue. Adrians mother Sonia had surgery, so she was at home when she started to notice these symptoms. She would ask Adrian if he was feeling okay, Adrian would always say yes. As time passed, Adrians symptoms slowly started to get worse and he started to get light fevers once a week. Sonia made him an appointment with the doctor but then she ended up being hospitalized for a week with a serious illness and was unable to make it to Adrians appt. When Sonia got out of the hospital she was on bed rest for a couple of weeks. Being home she noticed Adrians fevers were getting really bad. He was sleeping a lot more and eating a lot less. Sonia then had her husband Frank take him to the ER. They told him nothing was wrong. The blood work came back normal and the doctors said he just had a virus.
Adrian had a follow up with the his physician. They ran more labs that also showed his white blood cells to be high, which lead the doctors to believe he had a virus. Sonia was getting frustrated because in her heart she knew something was wrong.
Finally, a week later, they went to his physician because Adrians symptoms had worsened. The doctor requested more blood work and that's when the results determined his white blood cells where clotting which is a first sign of leukemia.
He was then hospitalized for more testing including two bone marrow biopsies and had started chemotherapy . When Adrian get released to go home he will still be getting chemotherapy 2x a week for 6-9 months. After that, he will get chemotherapy once a month for 3 years!

As you can imagine the financial burden is quite overwhelming. The family is doing everything to support Adrian while he fights cancer on his last year of high school.
Any donations are welcomed. We appreciate everyone's support and we would love to thank you in advance.
