In Loving Memory of John Kaiser - Support for Family

On Saturday, May 10th, 2025, we tragically lost our dear friend, husband, father, colleague, and cycling enthusiast John Kaiser, following a bicycle accident that occurred earlier that week.

John was surrounded by his loving family in his final moments. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Aili, daughters Lucy and Ella, and an extended community of friends, coworkers, and family who are grieving the sudden and heartbreaking loss of an extraordinary human being.

John was more than his work—though his brilliance as a Technical Content PM, particularly in the Microsoft Surface community, left an incredible mark. He was thoughtful, humble, kind, and known for his ability to make the complex simple. His love of cycling gave him the clarity and inspiration that fueled much of his professional work.

His passing was unexpected and John did not have a life insurance plan in place. This fund has been created with Aili’s blessing to help ease the unexpected financial burdens that have followed: medical expenses, memorial costs, and unforeseen expenses related to John's passing as Aili navigates the path ahead. In the event that any funds remain, Aili will be making a donation in John's name and memory to the ACLU.
