Thank you to everyone who reached out in helping to find Sam. Your thoughts and efforts to help bring him home mean a lot to Cassie and her family. He has a bigger fan base than he realizes.

Sam escaped his home earlier this week and was found by a good samaritan late at night on July 9th and was taken to the Sarnia Humane Society in rough condition. 

After an emergency hospital visit, he was discovered to have suffered a dislocated hip/joint damage. It's believed he was possibly kicked at some point during his absence and the window to place it back into socket has passed. The success rate for that is now quite low.

His best option now is either surgery to reattach the joint, or amputation, which cost about the same.

Several amazing people have come forward asking if there is anyway they could chip in to help with any costs associated. We decided to open this Gofundme to allow those who want to help, can.
