Female Dairy Farmer loses home

Donation protected
My name is Lisa Ubersox and I am asking for you to consider helping my sister. Amy is not only a mother of 2, but she is also one of the few female dairy farmers left in Wisconsin. While taking care of her 4-year-old daughter Kylee, she owns and operates Windy Valley Dairy and milks 110 cows, twice a day, with help from her boyfriend Alan.

On Tuesday, March 15th, severe storms came through the area and lightning struck the top of the farm house, causing a fire to start in the attic. As a result, the house, clothes, appliances, toys, and many other household supplies were lost. With everything that happened, and no sleep, Amy was out to the barn at 4AM the next morning to milk.

My sister has been reluctant to ask for help, but the insurance money isn’t going to be enough to cover the cost for rebuilding.

We are asking for any contributions and assistance that you are willing to give.  She has given so much to help others day in and day out, that this is the least that I can do to help her.

A fund is also set up:
Amy's Fire Fund
Town Bank
15815 Highway 81
Darlington, WI 53530

Thank you so much for your generosity.

God bless,

Lisa Ubersox
