Melanie Solberg Cancer Benefit

In February 2014, Melanie Solberg discovered a lump that led her to her initial doctor appointment.  Within a month, she was diagnosed with Stage 2B cancer.  She underwent a double masectomy in April 2014, and prepared herself to battle the cancer.  Immediately, she began 16 chemo treatments followed by 6 weeks straight of radiation.  Just weeks after completing the radiation, Melanie returned to the hospital for her first checkup in January 2015 only to be alarmed with further distressing news.  The cancer had returned with a vengence and was now at Stage 4.

Though the prognosis has been devastating, Melanie and her family are ready to aggressively fight back against the cancer; however, in order to do so the medical expenses have been and will continue to rise.  Melanie is looking into advanced cancer treatment options in both Texas and Arizona.  To offset the financial burden, Melanie's family has started a donation fund both locally and remotely via gofundme.  Our goal is $10,000.  We are grateful for any contribution made.
