Cooper’s Vet Bills

Dear friends, pet lovers, and compassionate souls, if you could take a few minutes out of your day, I would really appreciate this read. If you have ever met Cooper, you would know he is one of a kind. Such a happy, easy going, friendly boy. He recently came down with what started as a constant cough, and within a week, he was struggling to breathe. After 2 overnight emergency visits at the vet, it was discovered that he had an immense fluid build up in his chest cavity that was compressing his lungs. We were sent to a much more equipped animal hospital where he was hospitalized for a night to undergo an emergency procedure to drain the fluids. 1.5 liters of bloody fluid was drained and a cancerous mass in his lungs was discovered that caused this fluid build up. There is still more diagnostic testing to come with hopefully a surgery to remove the mass before it spreads.

Cooper only just recently turned 6. He is more than deserving of a much longer life. Cooper was a blood donor in his past, we saved many four-legged friends lives providing routine and emergency blood donations when in times of need. He was the best influence and companion when we fostered dogs in the past. He truly deserves a village to come together for him now.

This has been extremely heartbreaking. Cooper means the world to me and when life can continue to throw curve balls, he is always there to keep a smile on my face. I have no idea where I would be without him.

Cooper has so much life to live still. I am left here drowning in vet bills already and this is only the beginning in the fight to save my Cooper’s life.
