A dear family friend whom I consider my brother, Bhimsen Bhandari, has been diagnosed with stage 2 blood cancer at the age of 41. Serving his nation with dedication and honor, Bhimsen is an active duty Nepali soldier. His courage and devotion to duty have always been an inspiration to those around him.

The news of his illness has struck like a thunderbolt, leaving his family in a state of shock and despair. Bhimsen is the sole breadwinner for his family, comprising his wife and two young children, who depend entirely on his income.

He began his treatment at Chauni Hospital in Kathmandu, but a recent update revealed that he must travel to India to continue his fight against this dreadful disease. Sadly, his underprivileged background and limited financial resources have made this next step impossible to afford.
