Victim of domestic violence

Karina along with thousands of other women, is a victim of domestic violence and abuse.  Her husband is currently in jail for causing physical harm to her and her 15 months old son.   Karina is left by herself with no means to survive. She doesn’t even have food in her refrigerator to eat herself, because the last little bit of money that she had she spent to buy baby food for her son. Karina is not from the United States and doesn’t have any friends or relatives here who can help. She also can not go back to her home country or leave Virginia until she gets full custody of her son. Until then, she needs to be able to survive. She never asked for anything and the only thing that she is looking for is a job. She is ready to do any job that there is just to make money so she can survive on her own. 
She is getting eviction notice from the apartment that her and her husband used to live in, her car is being repossessed and the only thing she is asking for is a job so she can get back on her feet.

The desicion to create this campaign was made by other moms who want to help her. If we all donate at least a dollar it will be enough money for her to get back on her feet and rent a room somewhere. Our local group of Moms helped with food and some winter clothes. Karina is currently going through custody hearings and filing paperwork to extend her protection order. If you can donate at least a dollar it will help. Unfortunately, she is in the position where she has no other choice but to ask for help.
