How's this sound?

I'm 42. I recently, well, 14 months ago, broke my left femur (upper left leg) right about where the leg enters the pelvis at Caterpillar in Griffin. I've contemplated doing a GoFundMe for the last 10 months. However, with my very small settlement check and my 401k, I couldn't get myself to do it because honestly, at that time, I didn't need it. Now, fast forward 14 months, I still can't walk straight. Every bit of walking I do is with crutches. My daughters push me to walk solo around our house. I'm just not quite vertical enough for someone to hire me for work. That, and I've always had very physical jobs from electrical/electrician building data servers for low voltage/networks, so at this point, I'm gonna be forced into a much different career. Even with a completely healed hip, doctors say climbing up and down ladders is gonna be impossible. Icing on the cake, I had someone steal my Expedition. Fayette County Sheriff got it back with a lot of mechanical issues, including the sunroof will not shut.
