Help Liz Kick Cancers Butt!!!

Help Liz kick cancers butt!!!! Most of you don't know but in June of this year Liz began treatment for what she was told was a blood clot on her right eye she has had to endure shots in her eye once a month for the last 6 months to try to dissolve the clot. At her last appointment she was informed that it was NOT a blood clot and suspected that it was a tumor. Within the last week after seeing 2 different eye specialists and having tests ran they have confirmed that it is Ocular Melanoma. Due to the misdiagnosis at this time the only treatment option is to totally remove the right eye because the tumor is already covering 50% of her right eye. Melanoma is a fast spreading cancer that typically spreads to the liver and lungs first. At this time the labs and CT that she had done the cancer does not seem to have spread, she will need to follow up with oncology to make sure that does not change. Liz did see an ocular surgeon today and they will be scheduling surgery very soon to remove her right eye, due to the surgery she will be off work for a few weeks to recover. This Go Fund Me is being set up so that we can help Liz not have to worry about the financial hardship that being off work might cause while she is recovering we all want her to just focus on getting better anyone that knows Liz knows that she is always there for family and friends when they need anything we just want to show her the same support.
